Then
In 1981 the Gaalswyk brothers purchased their first cab over tractor and hopper trailer to haul grain off the farm. It was also a way to supplement their farming income by hauling for the local cooperatives. The company was based on the farm out of the family home. Their mother even used to answer the phone and help book loads when the guys were in the field.
As time went on and the company continued to grow, the business was moved off the farm and into Trimont.
Now
Today, Gaalswyk Brothers Trucking is still a family operated company ran by the original owners. We run approximately 30 high sided hopper trailers within a 1,200 mile radius of southwestern Minnesota, occasionally going outside of this radius depending on customer needs. With our equipment we transport a variety of bulk commodities including feed ingredients, grains, fertilizers, organics, as well as specialty products. Our high sided hoppers give us the additional flexibility to haul lightweight commodities, providing increased service to our customers.
